Fubar is a legendary card drinking game that can get you good and messy drunk if played well…or badly.
Sip Score: ***** (High-Sipping game)
Game Description: A card game in which each card has a different value and command which players are to follow. This is very similar to bingo, just like on http://www.partybingo.com, and it’s also a lot like the Memory drinking game as well: in all cases you just do what the cards tell you or pay the penalty the cards dictate. However, you can customize the game a little by agreeing on how many sips/shots apply to each penalty (see Rules of the Game, below).
Number of Players: Minimum of two.
You Will Need: A smorgasbord of alcoholic drinkies and a full pack of cards.
How to Play: Sit at a table with the players, pack of cards and plenty of booze. Shuffle the pack and place them in the center of the table. Each player then selects a card from the pack and shows it to the rest of the players…
Rules of the Game:
Agree on the values for a penalty drink. This could be one shot or one sip of beer for generic penalties. For card value penalties, make sure all players understand the corresponding drink values per card, below. You can decide if “a drink” means a sip, or a shot. Just apply the rules consistently for all players and have fun!
ACE: The selector of this card has to TAKE A DRINK.
CARD NUMBERS 2 or 3: The selector of this card has to take TWO or THREE drinks, respectively.
CARD NUMBER 4: The selector of this card has the change to ask any player a QUESTION of their choice, which is to receive an answer. If the player being asked the question doesn’t give an answer or makes a mistake, the selector of the card can impose a DRINKING PUNISHMENT to the value of their choice onto the naysayer.
CARD NUMBER 5: The selector of this card has to OFFER FIVE DRINKS to the other players.
CARD NUMBER 6: The selector of this card has to share with the other players one thing that he has NEVER DONE. If the other players HAVE done this, they have to DOWN ONE DRINK.
CARD NUMBER 7: Thumb master card! The selector of this card has to place his thumb on the table.
CARD NUMBER 8: It’s category time! The selector of this card has to think of a category of trivia on which each player has to answer. Wrong answers about the topic mean TAKING A DRINK!
CARD NUMBER 9: Represents rhyme time! The selector of this card has to choose a word and all the other players have to select a similarly rhyming word. If a player is unable to make a successful rhyme, there is a penalty. What’s the punishment? You guessed it…take a DRINK!
CARD NUMBER 10: Is the wild card drinking card! ALL PLAYERS TAKE A DRINK!
JACK: All male players TAKE A DRINK.
QUEEN: All female players TAKE A DRINK.
KING: This is a WATERFALL card. It means that the selector has to drink their entire drink, down in one, followed by each player doing the same, until every player has drained their cups!
You Lose: If you are Fubar-ed by the end of the game. It will be very obvious which player is the most drunk by the time play is concluded. This player is crowned the loser!

Great game! My friends and I usually use the Kings and Queens a little differently, though. Just like in KIngs, the person who draws one gets to make up a rule. If it’s a queen, all the ladies have to follow the rule, and if it’s a king, all the guys have to follow it.
LOL, the name reminds me of the guy in Saving Private Ryan who could never understand what it meant. By the way, what exact drinks are we supposed to use? This game would be a lot different with beer than, say, vodka!
