Game Description: Flip, Sip or Strip is a drinking game in which the primary modes of play involve flipping a coin, sipping beer or removing clothes, the latter two being penalties. As this game is one that potentially involves nudity, it is really important for all players (especially if this is played with guys and gals together) that they trust each other and feel comfortable. If any player feels uncomfortable at any time, it’s important they can stop whenever they want.
Number of Players: Minimum of three.
You Will Need: A coin, some buddies and the most important ingredient: BOOZE! This game works best with players who know each other well and trust each other. It’s best to play this at home; not many bartenders will appreciate the clothes-removing aspect, so be warned!
How to Play: Have your buddies sit together with all your drinks at the ready. Get your coins ready and decide the order of players. The first player flips a coin in the air and has to guess the flip mid-air and let it land on their hand. The result each coin flip will determine the course of action for the next move in the game…
Rules of the Game:
N.B. Make sure that ALL players agree with and are comfortable with any rules of the game with pertain to stripping or removing clothes. Don’t take advantage of drunken players by making them remove clothing if they aren’t happy to do so or able to give genuine consent. Play sensibly, responsibly and considerately.
NO COINS ARE PERMITTED BE CAUGHT WHILE STILL IN THE AIR: The coins MUST land on the hand of the player who flipped the coin. If a player mistakenly catches a coin in the air, they have to TAKE A DRINK as a penalty.
CORRECTLY GUESSING THE FLIP: A player correctly guessing the flip can decide to flip the coin a second time, or pass to the player on their right hand side.
INCORRECTLY GUESSING THE FLIP: Getting the coin toss wrong means…SIPPING OR STRIPPING! Either take a drink, or take off an item of clothing…
IF A PLAYER GETS THREE SUCCESSIVE CORRECT GUESSES AT THE COIN FLIP: This player can choose to pass the coin onto the next player to their right OR can choose to put on an item of clothing they lost in previous incorrect coin flips.
ALL CLOTHING IS UP FOR GRABS: Any item can be removed, unless players specify at the beginning of the game that certain items of clothing are off-limits. This is a rule which all players have to agree upon before playing. This rule can either be removed or modified, as per the preferences of all players.
You Lose: If you end up drunk and or naked by the game’s end, which means you have lost the most coin flips.
