Game Description As the name suggests, this is a drinking game that involves flipping cups. Prior to the flip Olympics part of the game, players have to do their best at speed-drinking to drain their cups in order to flip the empty cups. Players do this in teams, and only one team can prevail as winner!

Number of Players Minimum of six, but the more the merrier!

You Will Need A table, a whole bunch of cups, even more beer and at least six people to play.

How to Play: Arrange your table and cups so that there is a cup for each player. Split the players into two teams. Line up one team on either length-way side of the table so that each player has a direct facing opponent like in Beer Pong). Make sure there a cup of beer in front of each player, all filled equally. The aim of the game is to drink your beer as quickly as possible and then place the empty cup standing up the right way on the edge of the table. Next, you have to flip your cup in the air so that it attempts to land upside-down on the table. Then the next participant in line does the same. Continue until all team members on each side have completed this. The team that finishes first by drinking all their beer and flipping their cups successfully over are the winners!

Rules of the Game:

BEER LEVELS: Beer must be filled equally in each of the cups.

CUPS: All cupsbe flipped from right-way-up to wrong-way-down.

EACH TEAM MEMBER HAS TO WAIT FOR THE PREVIOUS ONE TO DRINK-AND-FLIP: The sequence has to be completed by each team member before the next player gets to drink-and-flip.

You Lose: If your team is the last to compete the drink-and-flip procedure.

Safety Disclaimer: Beer Flip is a drinking game that puts emphasis on speed-drinking. It can get pretty competitive and crazy, so take some sensible measures before playing to limit the possibility of players feeling sick or things getting too out of hand.

Make sure you don’t play speed-drinking games like Beer Flip on an empty stomach, as this is never a good idea. It’s sensible to have a light meal before you play. Additionally, drinking water in between rounds of extended play is a smart move.

Above all, don’t get too carried away with the competition element of the game so that you stop listening to your body’s internal “stop drinking” mechanism. If you feel sick, dizzy or like you’re playing too fast, it’s ok to slow down or stop. If you are playing with friends whom you trust, they will understand and will see it as more important to make sure you’re ok than to win the game.

A final word of caution is to never attempt to drive after playing this game. It’s really hard to judge how drunk you are immediately after playing, as the fast consumption of alcohol may take a while be fully understood. This doesn’t mean you’re good to drive, so take a taxi or get a sober friend to take you home.
