Drop the Quarter is a fun and easy game that can be played while having a casual drink with a pal at home. It’s also one of those drinking games that you can get addicted to!
Sip Score: ** (Light-sipping game)
Game Description: This is a simple but enjoyable coin toss drinking game with a difference where missed shots mean DRINKS! The difference? It’s that coin needs to be dropped from in between the knees instead of from the hands!
Number of Players: Two
You Will Need: A quarter or any similar coin, a small glass and a usual drink for each player.
How to Play: Move a glass about 5 to 10 feet away from where the two players will be standing. Place the coin in between the knees of the first player who walks up to the glass and attempts to drop the coin inside without the use of hands or anything else other than great aim and superb knee-control!
Rules of the Game:
IF THE PLAYER MISSES: Take a BIG gulp of their drink.
IF THE PLAYER GETS THE COIN INTO THE GLASS: The other player has to take a BIG gulp of their drinks!
VARIATION: For a more competitive game and with a bit more of a party feel, increase the number of coins that are simultaneously aimed into the glass. The number of coins dropped equals the number of drinks the player must take. The number successfully dunked into the glass is the number of drinks the other player has to take!
TEAM: More players can be involved and divided into teams; penalties can be divided as in the variation above, but between the whole team instead of all the penalty drinks being consumed just one player in the original two player version.
You Lose: If you repeatedly miss the glass and fail to get the coin inside. Gulp, gulp your drink instead!
