Bird or Man has a curious name, but thankfully a very simple game plan. Guess correctly to win!
Sip Score: * (Easy-Sipping game)
Game Description: A coin drinking game with simple rules and no requirement of sporting ability. Spin the coin and place your bets. You’re got a 50% chance of getting this right, so it’s a good drinking game for enjoying, taking it easy and not consuming too much.
Number of Players: Minimum of four
You Will Need: A table, a Quarter (or a similar coin) and some drinks.
How to Play: One of the players starts by spinning the coin with their fingers on a table. The spinner must stop the coins movement by slamming it on the table so it is hidden by the palm of the hand. The spinner then asks the other players to call it: ‘Bird’ is for tails and ‘Man’ is for heads!
Rules of the Game:
PLAYER MAKING THE RIGHT GUESS: Gets to spin the quarter; the other players have to DRINK.
PLAYER MAKING THE WRONG GUESS: Has to DRINK; spinning passes onto the next player who gets to also slam the coin down and ask the others to make a guess, etc.
Continue until each player has taken a turn at spinning and guessing.
You Lose: If you always guess wrong: Bird when it’s Man and Man when it’s Bird! You can always start from the beginning again, until you get it right.
Safety Disclaimer: Bird or Man is one of those drinking games that people can really let loose with and have a lot of fun, but if not played responsibly there could be serious repercussions. Never drink and drive and always make sure that the people you arrive with leave with you or are otherwise in safe, trusted hands. Don’t leave beverages unattended and don’t put yourself in dangerous situations. Always be safe when playing Bird or Man or any other drinking game.
